Explore the Primary PE Summit and the new Aquatics Summit
WORKSHOP ONE : Exploring Adaptive Practice via Target Games
Join Julie as she explores how adaptive pedagogy can create a more careFULL approach to Primary PE, one that recognises every child as a unique learner. Through target games, you’ll explore how to create playful, engaging environments, break down key physical, cognitive and social skills, and design learning experiences that allow for choice, challenge and meaningful decision-making.
Takeaway: Practical ways to create more inclusive PE lessons by offering different pathways to success, alongside a deeper understanding of how your choices as a teacher shape learning.
WORKSHOP TWO : Let's Dance! Celebrating the Power of the Mind, Body and Creativity
This session explores how dance can be used as a powerful tool for creativity, expression and learning in Primary PE. Drawing on simple movement actions and ideas inspired by Laban, you’ll discover how to create inclusive, engaging dance experiences that move beyond technique and allow every child to explore, create and communicate through movement.
Takeaway: Practical ideas to create inclusive, creative dance experiences where every child can express themselves through movement.
