WORKSHOP : BUILDING FUTURE LIFEGUARDS

Water is a source of life, joy, and connection, but it also carries risks when safety is overlooked. Every year, thousands of lives are lost to drowning, and many of these tragedies are preventable through education, awareness, and action. In this session, Red Rescue will share the essentials of water safety that every student, teacher, and family can practice. More than just learning how to swim, water safety is about building the mindset, skills, and confidence to act responsibly around water, to look out for one another, and to step up as leaders in times of need.  This session goes beyond rules and reminders, it is about inspiring the next generation of water safety experts. We will show how simple habits can make a life-saving difference, and how every person, young or old, has the potential to be a protector of life. By empowering students with knowledge and practical tips, we believe they can carry this awareness back to their homes, communities, and even the world. Together, we can reduce drowning and move closer to a future where water is enjoyed safely, confidently, and without fear.
